BEDFORD, Texas (TXAN 24) — Texas Harley-Davidson brought together riders, families and community members for its Bikes, Burgers & Bears charity event, collecting teddy bears for children receiving care in medical and mental health facilities.
The free event was held July 18 at the dealership’s Bedford location, where attendees donated new teddy bears with their original tags attached.
The stuffed animals will benefit children through the Tattoo Mark Foundation, a nonprofit organization that provides toys, activities and support for young patients in medical and mental health facilities.
Guests enjoyed complimentary burgers, live music and a showcase of Harley-Davidson motorcycles throughout the afternoon. Beer was also available for attendees ages 21 and older.
Claire Nelson of Texas Harley-Davidson said, “This is a community space and we will continue hosting events every Saturday.
The Bedford dealership serves riders throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex and regularly hosts community events while offering Harley-Davidson motorcycle sales, service, parts, apparel and rider education
