DALLAS, Texas (TXAN 24) - SMU jumped out to an 8-0 lead during the better part of the first 5 minutes of the contest; with all major scorers getting into a groove right off the bat. Miller led the way with 26 points in the game.
Radford battled back to come with in one possession of the Mustangs several times. Jaron Pierre Jr. had a grown man plus one at the end of the first half; that three point play lifted the lead to 46-38 going into halftime in Moody Coliseum.
To start the second half the Mustangs immediately pushed the lead to double digits which forced a Radford timeout. Although Radford put up a great effort, SMU Men's Basketball was too athletic and too big at the Center position for them to stay competitive.
Final score:
SMU - 89
Radford - 72
SMU Mustangs move to 7-0 and will play at Mississippi State on Friday, November 28, 2025.
