LIST: 9 Round Rock Express Players Called Up to the Texas Rangers This Season

ROUND ROCK, Texas (TXAN 24) — The Round Rock Express have been more than just a minor league affiliate this season — they’ve been the Texas Rangers’ go-to reserve unit.

So far in 2025, nine players from the Express have received the call-up to Arlington, answering the bell as the Rangers battle through injuries, bullpen shifts, and lineup adjustments.

Here’s a quick look at the nine call-ups fueling the Rangers’ 2025 campaign:

1. Caleb Boushley (RHP)

Contract selected on April 8. Veteran arm brought up to stabilize early rotation needs.

2. Dustin Harris (CF)

Recalled April 9. Dynamic outfielder with pop and plate patience.

3. Ezequiel Duran (3B)

Recalled April 9. Already proven at the big-league level, added depth on the left side.

4. Jacob Latz (LHP)

Recalled April 16. Southpaw option for middle relief and spot starts.

5. Gerson Garabito (RHP)

Recalled April 24. Underrated arm who’s been lights out in stretches for Round Rock.

6. Cole Winn (RHP)

Brief call-up on May 20. Former top pick still developing into an MLB mainstay.

7. Alejandro Osuna (OF)

Made MLB debut on May 25. One of the most anticipated young talents in the system.

8. Codi Heuer (RHP)

Contract selected June 1. Reinforcement for the bullpen’s late-inning mix.

9. Jonathan Ornelas (INF)

Got a short MLB stint before being DFA’d May 19. Known for defensive versatility.

The Rangers’ strong farm-to-field connection with Round Rock is keeping the roster fresh and competitive. And with the season far from over, don’t be surprised if more Express talent makes the leap.
