Fort Worth Botanic Garden Announces Flora House Restaurant, New Catering Partnership

FORT WORTH, Texas (TXAN 24) — The Fort Worth Botanic Garden has announced a new partnership with Westland Hospitality that will bring a new restaurant concept, Flora House, and exclusive catering services to the historic garden.

Scheduled to open in fall 2026, Flora House will replace the Garden’s current café and offer a chef-driven dining experience open to both visitors and the public.

The restaurant will be led by Chef Juan Rodriguez, who will oversee seasonal menus inspired by the Garden’s landscapes, while Paige Rodriguez will manage event operations and guest experiences.

According to officials, the project includes significant renovations to the existing café space and plans for special dining events, including Secret Garden Supper Clubs, craft cocktails, curated beverage offerings, and family-friendly mocktails.

Westland Hospitality, a Fort Worth-based hospitality group, operates several local concepts, including Magdalena’s Catering & Events, Pulido’s Kitchen & Cantina, JD’s Hamburgers, Curly’s Frozen Custard, and Margie’s Italian Gardens.

As part of the agreement, Westland Hospitality has also been named the Fort Worth Botanic Garden’s exclusive catering partner, providing food and beverage services for weddings, corporate events, galas, and private gatherings held on the Garden’s 120-acre campus.

Fort Worth Botanic Garden President and CEO Patrick Newman said the partnership will enhance dining and event experiences while supporting the Garden’s mission of community engagement and hospitality.
