SAN ANTONIO, Texas (TXAN 24) — Friday afternoon we saw the UIL Girls Basketball State Championships march on with the 3A-D2 game between Nacogdoches Central Heights and Wall at the Alamodome.

Wall jumped out with a 12-1 run over the first six minutes of the game, out the Lady Devils in a serious hole. The score at the end of the first period was 14-4, in favor of the Wall Lady Hawks.

Nacogdoches Central Heights pushed back and even nailed a buzzer beater to end the first half, but the Wall Lady Hawks were still in the drivers seat for this entire 3A-D2 Championship game and came out with another title to add to their trophy case.

Final Score:

Wall - 49

Central Heights - 34
