COLORADO SPRINGS, Colorado (TXAN 24) — As the calendar turns to 2026, the U.S. Olympic & Paralympic Museum is rolling out an expanded slate of programming designed to bring fans closer than ever to the Olympic and Paralympic Games.

In conjunction with the upcoming 2026 Milano Cortina Winter Games, the Museum is launching the Museum Games Experience, a season-long celebration featuring live viewing events, athlete engagement, special programs, and community activations throughout both the Olympic and Paralympic competitions.

Museum officials say visitors can expect enhanced Games coverage across galleries and digital platforms, including exclusive content and behind-the-scenes storytelling highlighting the athletes, history, and impact of the Olympic and Paralympic movement.

One of the first major events on the January calendar is Games History Hour on January 20 at 9 a.m. MT. The free virtual event will feature Olympic speed skating legend Bonnie Blair, alongside sport historians and policy experts, offering a fast-paced look at the evolution of the Winter Games.

The Museum continues to promote youth sports participation nationwide, helping families connect children with local athletic opportunities across multiple disciplines.

In addition, memberships provide access to more than 350 museums nationwide through the ASTC Travel Passport Program, while donations support educational programs that preserve and share Olympic and Paralympic athlete stories.

The U.S. Olympic & Paralympic Museum is located at 200 S. Sierra Madre Street in Colorado Springs. More information and a full event schedule can be found on the Museum’s website.
