TYLER, Texas (TXAN 24) — Texas College has named Jameus Hartsfield, Sr., an alumnus and former Steers basketball player, as Interim Head Men’s Basketball Coach. With nearly 20 years of coaching experience, Coach Hartsfield brings expertise and leadership to the program.
Hartsfield previously served as Head Coach and teacher at Marlin ISD and held roles as Head Men’s Basketball Coach and Associate Director of Athletics at Wiley College in Marshall, Texas.
The College is excited to welcome Coach Hartsfield back to lead the Steers this season, continuing his legacy of excellence both on and off the court.
