ROUND ROCK, Texas (TXAN 24) — The Round Rock Express joined forces with several major Texas sports organizations to unveil a newly rebuilt Little League ballpark in Central Texas following devastating floods last year.

The grand opening of the Ingram Little League Ballpark took place Saturday, marking the completion of a nearly $3 million renovation project after severe flooding in July 2025 damaged the original fields.

Organizations involved in the rebuild included the Nolan Ryan Foundation, Houston Astros Foundation, Texas Rangers Baseball Foundation, San Antonio Missions and Major League Baseball.

The upgraded complex now features three primary fields, two practice fields, improved batting cages and modern amenities, designed to serve young athletes in the Ingram community for years to come.

Team officials say the project represents more than just a rebuild—it’s about restoring a space for youth development and community connection.
A ribbon-cutting ceremony, ceremonial first pitch and exhibition games featuring local Little League teams highlighted Saturday’s celebration.
The Express will now turn attention to their upcoming season, with their home opener set for March 31 at Dell Diamond against the Gwinnett Stripers.
Leaders involved in the project emphasized the collaboration between organizations across Texas, calling the ballpark a symbol of resilience and recovery for families impacted by the floods.
