Piney Award Winner: Tyler High QB Cayden Granberry

TYLER, Texas (TXAN 24) — This week’s Piney Award, presented by Piney Woods Outfitters, goes to Tyler High Lions quarterback Cayden Granberry. Granberry put on a show against Marshall, completing 25 of 34 passes for 310 yards and 2 touchdowns in a nail-biting 1-point loss.

Despite the tough finish, Granberry’s poise and accuracy kept the Lions in the fight from start to finish — proving why he’s one of the most dynamic quarterbacks in East Texas this season.
