TEXAS (TXAN 24) — East Texas continues to prove it’s one of the most talent-rich regions in the nation, and the Class of 2025 is no exception. From Carthage to Texarkana, these 10 seniors are already making national noise — with major college commitments and 4-star ratings to back it up.
Here’s a breakdown of the Top 10 ranked senior football players out of East Texas:

#1 KJ Edwards – RB, Carthage — Texas A&M commit:
One of the most electric backs in the country, Edwards is ranked #2 RB in Texas and #47 nationally. At 5’10”, 180 lbs, he brings a powerful blend of burst and vision.

#2 Tradarion Ball – RB, Texas High (Texarkana) — Oregon commit:
Another elite back, Ball is a top-3 RB in Texas and the type of home-run threat Ducks fans dream about. Expect big plays every Friday night.

#3 Daquives Beck – LB, Carthage:
A 6’0”, 215-lb enforcer, Beck is ranked #9 in Texas at LB and #159 nationally. He’s uncommitted, but not for long.

#4 Ryelan Morris – WR, Honey Grove — Stanford commit:
A polished route-runner with elite quickness, Morris clocks in at #26 WR in the country and brings brains and ball skills to the Cardinal.

#5 S’Vioarean Martin – CB, Palestine —Texas Tech commit:
A long, physical defensive back at 6’2”, Martin is the #43 player in Texas and a key part of Tech’s 2025 class.

#6 Lakeyleon Graves – ATH, Kilgore:
A versatile athlete with length (6’2”), Graves can line up all over the field and is still weighing his college options.

#7 Carson Crawford – LB, Carthage —Colorado commit:
The 6’3”, 215-lb linebacker is committed to Coach Prime and brings leadership and intensity to every snap.

#8 Kaleb Walker – EDGE, Lindale —Houston commit:
Walker is a rising pass rusher who’s shot up recruiting boards. At 6’1”, 250 lbs, he’ll be a nightmare off the edge in the AAC.

#9 Keymian Henderson Jr. – WR, Carthage:
At 6’3”, 190 lbs, Henderson’s size and catch radius are next-level. He’s still uncommitted but drawing big-time attention.

#10 Duncan McGhee – DL, Texas High (Texarkana) — TCU commit:
At 6’3.5”, 250 lbs, McGhee anchors the line and is a future Horned Frog with SEC-level strength and technique.
