U-Haul Expands in Tyler with New Neighborhood Dealer at Mak Auto Repair Center

TYLER, Texas (TXAN 24) — U-Haul has expanded its presence in Tyler by partnering with Mak Auto Repair Center as a new U-Haul Neighborhood Dealer, giving East Texas residents another location to rent moving equipment and purchase moving supplies.

Located at 1505 E. Erwin St. Tyler, Texas, Mak Auto Repair Center now offers U-Haul trucks, trailers, towing equipment, and moving supplies, providing additional convenience for do-it-yourself movers in the Tyler area.

U-Haul says its Neighborhood Dealer program has supported independent businesses since 1945. The company notes that more than 22,000 independent dealers across the United States and Canada generate supplemental income by offering U-Haul rental services while continuing to operate their primary businesses.

According to U-Haul, renting from a Neighborhood Dealer also helps support locally owned small businesses within the community.
