Jacksonville Indians Fall To No. 3 Pine Tree Pirates At Tomato Bowl

JACKSONVILLE, Texas (TXAN 24) — The Jacksonville Indians came up short Friday night against the No. 3-ranked Pine Tree Pirates at the historic Tomato Bowl.

Jacksonville battled one of the state’s top-ranked teams in front of a home crowd, but Pine Tree ultimately secured the victory and continued its strong start to the season.

The Indians faced a difficult challenge against a Pirates team that entered the matchup ranked No. 3 and carrying significant momentum.
