OMAHA, Nebraska (TXAN 24) - The Dallas Pulse left no doubt on the road, sweeping the Omaha Supernovas in straight sets (25-21, 25-21, 25-22) to secure their seventh sweep of the season and punch their ticket to the playoffs.
Dallas (17-6) leaned once again on its dynamic outside hitter duo, as Mimi Colyer and Sofia Maldonado Diaz powered the offense. Colyer delivered 19 points on an efficient .405 hitting clip, while Maldonado Diaz led all scorers with 22 points, continuing to establish the pair as one of the league’s most dangerous combinations. Both players added six digs, showcasing their all-around impact.
Kaylee Cox contributed a strong all-around performance with eight kills and 11 digs for a double-double, while setter Natalia Valentin-Anderson orchestrated the offense with 42 assists and 12 digs. As a team, Dallas hit .320, marking its ninth match this season above the .300 threshold.
Omaha (11-13) was led by Sarah Parsons with 13 points, while Emily Londot added 10, but the Supernovas struggled to keep pace with Dallas’ consistent offensive pressure.
Each set followed a similar script, with Omaha threatening late but Dallas responding with timely runs to close.
The Pulse now return home to Comerica Center on April 17 for a regular-season finale matchup against the Columbus Fury, carrying momentum and playoff confidence.
