BPIR Announces 2026 Texas Connection Schedule at Historic Cowtown Coliseum

FT. WORTH, Texas (TXAN 24) — The Bill Pickett Invitational Rodeo (BPIR) is bringing the heat back to Cowtown Coliseum in 2026 with a full slate of Texas Connection shows and the Texas Buckle Series Championship.
The action kicks off Saturday, February 14, 2026, with two performances at 1:30 PM and 7:30 PM, setting the tone for a year packed with rodeo excitement, family fun, and Texas pride.
The Texas Connection Series will return to Fort Worth on:
May 16, 2026 – 1:30 PM & 7:30 PM
June 20, 2026 – 1:30 PM & 7:30 PM
August 15, 2026 – 1:30 PM & 7:30 PM
All events will be held at Cowtown Coliseum, located at 121 E Exchange Ave, Fort Worth, TX 76164, the iconic heart of the Fort Worth Stockyards and home to some of the most celebrated moments in rodeo history.
The season will culminate with the Texas Buckle Series Championship on Saturday, October 17, 2026, where the top competitors from across the state will battle for championship titles and bragging rights in one of the most anticipated BPIR events of the year.
The Bill Pickett Invitational Rodeo continues to celebrate Black cowboy and cowgirl heritage while showcasing elite rodeo athletes in a high-energy, crowd-filled atmosphere.
