TYLER, Texas (TXAN 24) - On Tuesday Night Kilgore and Lindale faced off for the Bi-District round of the UIL State Boys Basketball Playoffs. Lindale was the designated home team and their campus was just a 14 mile drive; while Kilgore was the visitors with only a 30 mile drive, to the game site at Tyler High School.

The crowd was 2 to 1 in favor of the Eagles and they brought the noise. Led by point guard David Lindig, the designated home team cruised to an easy Round 1 win and will have a shot to add an Area Championship golden ball to their trophy case in short order.
