Sniper Shooting on N. Stemmons Freeway: Suspect in Custody

DALLAS, Texas (TXAN 24) — Authorities have confirmed a suspect is now in custody following a shooting incident near the 8100 block of N. Stemmons Freeway, close to the INS building.

Earlier reports indicated multiple victims were struck by sniper fire, with the shooter positioned on the roof. Law enforcement quickly secured the area and moved in to take the suspect into custody.

No additional details on victim conditions or motive have been released at this time. The investigation remains active.
