San Antonio Launches ‘Music to Business’ Program to Boost Local Economy

SAN ANTONIO, Texas (TXAN 24) — Local leaders in San Antonio are blending art and commerce through a new city-backed initiative called “Music to Business.”

The program will fund live performances inside local shops, restaurants, and storefronts through August 2. The goal is to drive foot traffic, increase visibility for musicians, and support small businesses hit hard in recent years.

City Council members say the effort will help keep local dollars circulating while spotlighting homegrown talent across San Antonio neighborhoods.
