SAN ANTONIO, Texas (TXAN 24) — Authorities are searching for a suspect following an attempted sexual assault reported on a trail near the Leon Creek Greenway area, according to the San Antonio Police Department and Crime Stoppers officials.
Investigators say the incident happened around 2 p.m. on May 25, 2026, near the 13000 block of Bent Ridge Drive close to Jewell Lake. A female victim reported she was alone on the trail when a male suspect approached from behind and attempted to assault her.
During the struggle, the victim was able to take a photograph of the suspect before he fled the area on foot. The suspect remains at large.
