EAST TEXAS (TXAN 24) — Heading into the second week of games tonight in East Texas football here’s a look at the most outstanding player from our area last week:
University of Texas Longhorn Verbal Commit, Rickey Stewart, who was ranked #6 in our Preseason Top 25 ETX High School Players and ranked #47 in the State of Texas, plays running back for the Chapel Hill Bulldogs. He notched 225 yards rushing which resulted in 3 touchdowns in a 56-20 win against Jasper.
