TYLER, Texas (TXAN 24) — Every Thursday, TXAN partners with Nicholas Pet Haven to spotlight one incredible animal in search of a forever home. This week, we want you to meet Hannah, a 4 year old Shar-Pei mix who’s as gentle and lovable as they come.
Hannah’s story is one of patience and hope. She’s been at the shelter for quite some time, often overlooked, but her sweet nature and loyal personality make her truly special. At around 40 pounds, she’s the perfect medium sized companion who’s ready to bring love and light into someone’s life.

A Playful and Loving Companion
Hannah has the perfect mix of calm and fun. She loves to play with her toys and enjoys spending time with other dogs her size, especially puppies! She’s social, friendly, and has such a kind spirit that shines through in everything she does.
But what really makes Hannah stand out is her heart. She’s incredibly affectionate and just wants to be part of a family where she can feel safe, loved, and included. Whether it’s cuddling up on the couch or enjoying a quiet walk, Hannah is happiest when she’s with her people.

The Perfect Fit
Hannah would thrive in a home where she can get plenty of love and attention. She’s a gentle soul who does well with other dogs and would make a wonderful addition to almost any family.
She’s loyal, sweet, and ready to finally have a place to call her own, a home where she’s not just another face in the shelter, but part of the family.
