MURPHY, Texas (TXAN 24) — Mountain Mike’s Pizza has officially opened its newest North Texas location in Murphy, continuing the family-style pizza chain’s expansion across the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex.
The restaurant, located at 511 E. FM 544, marks the company’s 16th Texas location and is owned by husband-and-wife team Timothy Fogarty and Vanessa Lomelí-Fogarty, who also own the brand’s Fulshear restaurant and plan to open additional locations across the state.
The 2,500-square-foot restaurant features eight big-screen televisions, an all-you-can-eat pizza and salad bar, a weekday lunch buffet, an outdoor patio, a kids’ arcade area and complimentary Wi-Fi.
Company officials say the location is designed to serve as a gathering place for families, sports fans, community events and fundraising opportunities.
“Our goal is for each restaurant to become a true part of the community,” Fogarty said. “We’re excited to bring that same experience to more people here in Texas.”
Mountain Mike’s is known for its signature crispy, curly pepperoni, fresh daily dough and oversized 20-inch pizzas. Customers can dine in, order carryout or use the company’s in-house delivery service, mobile app or third-party delivery partners.
The Murphy restaurant is open Sunday through Thursday from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. and Friday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to midnight.
