Featherweight Kenneth Taylor Set to Represent Tyler on the Global Stage

TYLER, Texas (TXAN 24) – East Texas will be on full display this week as professional featherweight boxer Kenneth “TPC” Taylor heads to Puerto Rico, where he’ll step into the ring on a global stage, with his fight set to stream live on DAZN Boxing.

Taylor, who trains out of Kingdom Fitness in Tyler, says he’s carrying the pride of his hometown every step of the way.

“It feels good to know that I’m representing a city that has historically produced some elite athletes,” Taylor said. “I’m also proud to be one of them.”

Focused and confident, Taylor says his preparation has been all about precision and dominance.

“My mindset heading into this fight is to dominate and use the skill I was blessed with — my speed and ability to make opponents miss,” he said.

As he prepares to compete, Taylor made sure to send a message back home to those who’ve supported his journey.

“I’m truly grateful and blessed to have all of you rooting for me,” he said.
