HOUSTON, Texas (TXAN 24) — Global home fitness company DeerRun is launching its first North American retail store in Katy, Texas, alongside a public grand opening event featuring product demonstrations, giveaways, and its connected fitness platform.

The store will open to the public from 4:00–7:00 p.m., featuring interactive fitness challenges and a giveaway of 50 treadmills throughout the evening.
According to organizers, attendees will be able to compete in hourly “Speed Challenges,” where top performers earn prizes, while additional treadmills will be awarded through random drawings for participants who engage in on-site activities.
The company’s new Apex Series includes multiple treadmill models designed for different fitness levels, ranging from compact under-desk walking pads to high-performance incline machines with advanced speed and resistance capabilities.

The lineup also integrates the PitPat virtual ecosystem, which features online racing, training programs, and global leaderboards.

Company representatives say the Texas opening marks a major step in expanding its retail footprint in the United States, combining hardware, fitness tracking, and community-driven competition.
