UNITED STATES (TXAN 24) — Chase Haubert, a TikTok creator with 4,751 followers and over 70,300 likes under the username @_haubibi, is on a remarkable journey. With his best friend, Luna, by his side, Chase is biking from Florida to California—a 3,100-mile trek across 55 days—all in pursuit of one goal: earning a spot on Survivor.

Haubert and Luna have been pedaling an average of 50 to 70 miles daily. As of today, he is on day 46 of his journey, steadily approaching the finish line in California. In a recent interview, Haubert shared that he has applied multiple times to be cast on Survivor but has yet to receive a callback. Frustrated but determined, he took matters into his own hands, embarking on this daring expedition in hopes of catching the attention of Survivor host Jeff Probst.

Haubert remains optimistic that Probst will meet him at the finish line, though he hasn’t heard from the iconic host yet.

Survivor: A Cultural Phenomenon

Currently airing its 47th season, Survivor continues to captivate audiences. Episode 9 aired on November 13, 2024, with Jeff Probst emphasizing the importance of storytelling and honesty as contestants navigate the game.

Fans are already buzzing about season 50, which Probst teased earlier this year on Instagram. On April 28, 2024, he revealed that the milestone season will include returning players. Names like Rob “Boston Rob” Mariano, Parvati Shallow, Oscar Lusth, Tyson Apostol, and Benjamin “Coach” Wade are topping fans’ wishlists for a comeback.

Will Chase’s Journey Pay Off?

Chase Haubert’s cross-country bike ride has captured attention online, and his determination is undeniable. As his finish line draws closer, all eyes will be on California to see if Jeff Probst—and Survivor—answers his call.
