VIDEO: TVCC wins National Championship in Hutchinson, Kansas

HUTCHINSON, Kansas (TXAN 24) — The Trinity Valley Community College (TVCC) Cardinals are national champions after a hard fought game, claiming the victory over Connors State in the NJCAA Division I Men’s Basketball title game.

East Texas native Garrett Nuckolls put up 17 points for the Cardinals.

This marks another milestone for TVCC basketball, cementing their status among the nation’s top JUCO programs.
