SAN ANTONIO, Texas (TXAN 24) -- The Fairfield Lady Eagles faced the Jim Ned Indians earlier this season on December 28, 2024, during a neutral tournament game; giving this rematch much higher stakes.



The Fairfield Lady Eagles clinched the Class 3A Division I UIL State Championship with a thrilling 50-44 come from behind victory over the Jim Ned Indians at the Alamodome in San Antonio.



The Lady Eagles showcased resilience and determination, overcoming a previous loss to Jim Ned earlier this season.



Their relentless defense and cohesive teamwork were pivotal in securing the championship, bringing pride and joy to their community.
