WHITEHOUSE, Texas (TXAN 24) — After months of back-and-forth with Whitehouse ISD, a temporary resolution has been reached in the case of Marlondos Field Sr. and his special needs child.
Court-ordered pickup days and repeated criminal trespass notices — lifted and then reinstated multiple times over the past four months — left the Field family in constant limbo. The back-and-forth not only strained the father’s ability to maintain contact but also created instability for the child’s school routine.
That changed this week, when an active duty escort came to assist with morning drop-offs. The presence of the escort has provided both compliance with court orders and a sense of security, allowing the Field family to regain some normalcy.
For the Field family, the solution represents a turning point after months of uncertainty. The family said, noting that the arrangement allows them to focus once again on their child’s education and well-being.
TXAN 24 will continue to follow developments in this case as Whitehouse ISD and parents work toward long-term stability.
