2 Dead, 3 Injured at Shooting in Carrollton

CARROLLTON, Texas (TXAN 24) - A man opened fire at a shopping mall north of Dallas on Tuesday, shooting five people and killing two, according to police.

Roberto Arredondo, Carrollton Police Chief, said the incident was not random, noting the victims were acquainted with the suspect, who was taken into custody after a brief foot chase.
