1st Pro Rodeo at East Texas State Fair with Three Nights of Action Announced

TYLER, Texas (TXAN 24) — The East Texas State Fair is saddling up for its first-ever Pro Rodeo, set for September 19–21, bringing three nights of high-energy competition, entertainment, and community celebration.

With $45,000 in prize money at stake, fans can expect thrilling performances from some of the best athletes in the sport. Events will include Bareback Riding, Barrel Racing, Breakaway Roping, Bull Riding, Mutton Bustin’, Saddle Bronc Riding, Steer Wrestling, Team Roping, and Tie Down Roping — each sponsored by local and regional businesses.

Fair admission is included in every rodeo ticket, making it an all-in-one experience for attendees. Both VIP and General Admission tickets are on sale now, but quantities are limited.
