HOUSTON, Texas (TXAN 24) — TXAN 24 News spoke with Dr. Candice Matthews about recent allegations made by a man named Ricky Jason.
Dr. Candice Matthews says frankly “This man has been spreading lies on myself and Quanell X for years — from slander to defamation, from false accusations to outright malicious attacks. But now, the chickens have come home to roost.
Matthews says they have finally filed a lawsuit for defamation, slander, falsity, and malice.
According to the civil rights activist Jason is now dodging the process server like he’s allergic to accountability.
Dr. Candice Matthews asks, “If you’re standing on truth, why are you running? If you believed your lies, you’d open the door and take that paperwork like a man.”
Matthews told TXAN 24 News it’s time to bring him to Harris County and face the very justice system he mocked.
