EAST TEXAS (TXAN 24) — East Texas fans won’t have to look far for drama under the Friday night lights — this weekend is packed with marquee matchups that will shape bragging rights and playoff outlooks across the region.


1. Lindale vs. Van – A rivalry with deep roots. Lindale hosts Van in a clash of two proud programs where momentum can swing fast.


2. Longview vs. South Oak Cliff – The Lobos travel west to face SOC in Dallas. Longview has opened strong, but the Bears are never an easy out at home.
