DALLAS, Texas (TXAN 24) — Texas will have a major presence on the NBA’s national broadcast schedule during the 2026-27 regular season.

The Dallas Mavericks, Houston Rockets and San Antonio Spurs will combine for 76 nationally televised games this season.

The San Antonio Spurs lead Texas with 34 national TV appearances, tying for the most in the NBA.

The Dallas Mavericks and Houston Rockets will each have 21 nationally televised games, giving all three Texas franchises significant exposure throughout the season.

The NBA is scheduled to feature 247 nationally televised regular-season games across its new media partnership, meaning Texas teams account for nearly one-third of the league’s national broadcasts.

For the Mavericks, the national spotlight will include Luka Dončić’s return to Dallas on Feb. 28, when the Mavericks face the Los Angeles Lakers.

With 76 combined national broadcasts, Texas continues to stand as one of the NBA’s biggest markets for nationally televised basketball.
