FRISCO, Texas (TXAN 24) — The South Bay Lakers came into North Texas and handled business, defeating the Texas Legends twice in two days at Comerica Center, winning 127-105 and 104-99 in back-to-back matchups.
In the first contest, South Bay’s offense was firing on all cylinders. The Lakers pushed the tempo early and never let up, building a double-digit lead by halftime and stretching it even further in the second half.

The Legends struggled defensively, allowing 127 points in a game that was largely decided before the fourth quarter.
The rematch proved to be much tighter.
Texas responded with improved defensive energy and shot-making, keeping the game within reach down the stretch. However, South Bay executed late, knocking down key shots and converting at the free-throw line to seal the 104-99 win and complete the sweep.

The two-game set also featured LeBron James Jr., who continues to draw attention everywhere South Bay travels. His presence added extra buzz inside Comerica Center as fans packed in to catch a glimpse of the young guard in action.

The Legends now regroup after the tough home stand, while South Bay leaves Frisco with momentum after a statement road sweep.
