TYLER, Texas (TXAN 24) — Every Thursday, TXAN partners with Nicholas Pet Haven to spotlight one incredible animal in search of a forever home. This week, we want you to meet Annie, a bright and beautiful 14 month old Siberian Husky who has been waiting far too long for someone to finally notice her.
Annie came to the rescue after her owner tragically passed away, and despite her sweet nature and amazing potential, she’s been at the shelter for nearly a month with zero interest. She’s growing tired of kennel life and is more than ready for the forever family she deserves.

A Stunning Girl With a Big Personality
At just 14 months old, Annie is the perfect mix of youthful energy and eager to please sweetness. She’s incredibly smart, full of life, and always ready for fun. Whether she’s zooming around in the yard, cuddling up with her favorite stuffed animal, or hopping into the car for a ride, Annie makes every moment brighter.
Smart, Trainable, and Full of Potential
Annie already knows several basic commands, sit, shake, and lay down, and thrives when given something to learn or do. With the right training, she would make an excellent service dog thanks to her intelligence, attentiveness, and strong desire to bond with her person.
She’s also wonderful with other animals and walks beautifully on a leash, making her a great fit for an active home looking for a loyal, social companion.
Ready for Her Forever Family
Annie is:
• 14 months old
• A Siberian Husky
• Fully vetted, spayed and up to date on vaccines
• Smart, social, and eager to learn
• Great with all animals
• Energetic, affectionate, and ready to go home now
If you’re looking for a devoted partner with tons of personality, Annie is your girl.
