MIAMI, Florida (TXAN 24) — The NFL is gearing up for Miami Art Week with its biggest Artist Replay showcase yet — and several of the headliners have strong ties to the football culture Texans know well.
The league’s three-day event, running Dec. 5–7 during Art Basel, highlights how football continues to inspire artists, athletes, and storytellers far beyond the field. This year’s lineup features six nationally recognized creatives, plus two names many Texans will recognize: Cincinnati Bengals cornerback Marco Wilson, and former NFL tight end Martellus Bennett, who played for the Dallas Cowboys and remains a fan favorite across the state.
Both Wilson and Bennett will debut original artwork, marking the first time an active NFL player has contributed pieces to the showcase. Bennett, already known for his creative work and children’s books, brings a Texas flavor to this year’s gallery.
The public exhibition opens Saturday and Sunday in Miami’s Wynwood district, giving fans a chance to walk through the gallery, hear live panels, and take part in a Miami Dolphins watch party on Sunday afternoon. Starter will also be on-site with limited-edition merch and a customization studio.
