DALLAS, Texas (TXAN 24) — Park Place Dealerships is set to break ground Friday on a new Porsche dealership and an expanded Volvo facility along Lemmon Avenue in Dallas, marking a major investment in luxury automotive retail across North Texas.
The multi-million-dollar project will take place on 15 acres the company purchased in December 2024. Plans include construction of a state-of-the-art Porsche dealership expected to be completed in 2027, along with a new Volvo service center adjacent to the existing Volvo store.
Park Place Porsche currently operates out of a 23,000-square-foot facility on Lemmon Avenue. The new development signals continued growth for the dealership group in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.
Park Place Dealerships operates nine full-service dealerships across DFW, in addition to three collision centers and an auto auction.
The groundbreaking ceremony is scheduled for 10 a.m. Friday at 6000 Lemmon Avenue, near the intersection of Lemmon and Inwood. Park Place executives will be joined by Dallas Mayor Pro Tem Jesse Moreno, as well as representatives from Porsche and Volvo.
Visuals at the site will include cleared land ready for construction, ceremonial shovels and hard hats, construction equipment, and several Porsche and Volvo vehicles on display. Remarks and individual interviews will also be available.
