LIST: Flood Watch in Effect for East Texas, Louisiana, Arkansas

TYLER, Texas (TXAN 24) – The National Weather Service has issued a Flood Watch for large portions of East Texas, northern Louisiana, and southern Arkansas, in effect until 7 AM CDT Tuesday.
A powerful storm system is expected to move through the region overnight, producing locally heavy rainfall. The excessive rain could result in flash flooding in low-lying areas, poor drainage zones, and urban centers.
Areas Under Watch Include:
Texas counties: Angelina, Camp, Cass, Cherokee, Franklin, Gregg, Harrison, Marion, Morris, Nacogdoches, Panola, Rusk, Sabine, San Augustine, Shelby, Smith, Titus, Upshur, and Wood.
Louisiana parishes: Bienville, Bossier, Caddo, Caldwell, Claiborne, De Soto, Grant, Jackson, La Salle, Lincoln, Natchitoches, Ouachita, Red River, Sabine, Union, Webster, and Winn.
Arkansas counties: Columbia, Lafayette, Miller, and Union.
