COMMERCE, Texas (TXAN 24) — The East Texas A&M University men’s basketball team returns to the Hunt Regional Healthcare Court at The Field House on Monday night for its final home game of the 2025–26 season, hosting Houston Christian University in a pivotal Southland Conference matchup.
Tipoff is set for 6:30 p.m. in Commerce, with both teams battling for positioning in the conference standings.
The Lions enter the contest at 11-18 overall and 6-13 in Southland play, tied with HCU, which also sits at 10-18 overall and 6-13 in conference action. With identical league records, Monday’s showdown could prove decisive as both programs push toward the final stretch of the regular season.
