DALLAS, Texas (TXAN 24) — A new study from Canada Sports Betting shows the Dallas Stars aren’t just winning at home — they’re one of the most consistent teams in the NHL no matter where they play.
The analysis looked at more than 1,300 regular-season games, comparing win percentage and goal differential across different time zones. Those stats were combined into a Performance Score out of 100.
Dallas’ key rankings:
4th in Home Time Zone Games: 76.2% win rate, +1.02 goal differential (Score: 93.28)
4th in Cross-Time Zone Away Games: 59.53% win rate, +0.64 differential (Score: 73.15)
5th in Central Time Zone Games: 76% win rate, +1.02 differential (Score: 79.28)
5th in Eastern Time Zone Games: 64% win rate, +0.93 differential (Score: 78.91)
9th in Pacific Time Zone Games: 50% win rate, +0.86 differential (Score: 67.00)
According to the report, the Stars’ ability to maintain strong play across time zones is a major competitive edge heading into the 2025–26 season — especially in a league where long road trips can wear teams down.
With a roster built for depth and adaptability, Dallas could be one of the NHL’s toughest teams to knock off no matter the zip code.
