DALLAS, Texas (TXAN 24) — The Dallas Stars are back at the American Airlines Center tonight for their home opener, taking on the Minnesota Wild at 8:30 p.m. CDT. Fans can expect a fast-paced matchup as the Stars aim to keep their perfect start to the 2025–26 NHL season alive.
Dallas enters the game 2–0 after wins over the Winnipeg Jets and Colorado Avalanche. Goaltender Jake Oettinger has been solid in net, and forwards like Mikko Rantanen have already made an impact early in the season. Minnesota comes in with a 2–1 record, riding momentum from a recent shootout win against the Los Angeles Kings.
For those heading to the arena, the Victory Green Carpet Walk starts at 5:30 p.m. outside PNC Plaza. Fans can get up close with the team, enjoy live music, a Stars 360 photo booth, and giveaways. There’s also a chance to win a 2026 Toyota Tundra or Tacoma at the Toyota display.
If you can’t make it in person, the game will be broadcast locally and streamed on the NHL app, with radio coverage on KFAN 100.3 FM.
Tonight’s matchup sets the tone for the season, and both teams are looking to make a statement. Puck drop is 8:30 p.m. CDT — don’t miss it.
