COLD CASES SERIES: Thomas Leever

SABINE COUNTY, Texas (TXAN 24) — Thomas Pearson Leever was last seen at his residence in Harris County at 7:00 PM on 10-15-1990.

He was reported missing after he didn’t show for work the following day.

Leever owned Rapid Glass Company.

Leever’s beige 1985 Chevrolet S-10 pickup was missing, as well as a safe from his residence.

On 10-19-1990, Leever’s partially decayed remains were found off a rural Sabine County road. Leever’s death was caused by gunfire.

On 10-29-1990, Leever’s missing truck was found parked behind a business in Cleveland, Texas. Leever’s safe was never located.
