COLD CASES SERIES: Mary Waters

ANDERSON COUNTY, Texas (TXAN 24) — On 08-20-2008, the Texas Rangers and the Anderson County Sheriff’s Office initiated an investigation into the death of Mary Waters.

Waters was found deceased at her home on a rural county road in Anderson County.

An autopsy was performed which determined Waters died from a knife wound.

Texas Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward of up to $3,000 to any person who provides information that leads to the arrest of the person/persons responsible for this crime.
