PLANO, Texas (TXAN 24) — North Texas fans will have another reason to tune in when Olympic figure skater Amber Glenn takes the ballroom floor for Season 35 of Dancing With The Stars.

Glenn enters the competition with the second-best odds to win the season, according to data released by ActionNetwork ahead of the premiere.

Glenn is listed at +455, giving her an implied 18% probability of winning. Only Harry Shum Jr., the actor and dancer known for Glee and Shadowhunters, ranks ahead of her at +376.

Actress and dancer Jenna Dewan is third at +488, while Paralympic track and field athlete Ezra Frech and Savannah Bananas player Jackson Olson are both listed at +800.

For Glenn, the odds reflect the advantage that comes with years of elite athletic training. Figure skating demands balance, body control, timing, choreography and the ability to perform under pressure—skills that could translate well to the Dancing With The Stars ballroom.

Action Network noted that Glenn’s Olympic background gives her a strong foundation heading into the competition.

The early numbers also show just how wide the field is. At the other end of the rankings, celebrity chef Giada De Laurentiis has +9900 odds to win and is the favorite to be the first contestant eliminated at +100.

Glenn’s +455 winner odds put her firmly among the season’s top contenders before the first dance.

Season 35 of Dancing With The Stars premieres September 15.
