PREVIEW: Caitlin Clark, Indiana Fever visit Dallas Wings at AAC on Thursday

DALLAS, Texas (TXAN 24) — Caitlin Clark and the Indiana Fever return to North Texas on Thursday night for a highly anticipated matchup with the Dallas Wings at American Airlines Center.

The Fever enter the matchup coming off a 98-87 victory over Dallas on Aug. 14. Clark led Indiana with 29 points, while Paige Bueckers paced the Wings with 29 points of her own. Indiana pulled away in the fourth quarter, turning a tied game into an 11-point victory.

Thursday’s meeting will be the fourth and final scheduled matchup between the teams this season. Dallas won the season opener 107-104, while Indiana evened the series with its victory Friday.

The spotlight will again fall on Clark and Bueckers, two of the WNBA’s biggest young stars. Clark enters the game after recording 29 points against Dallas, while Bueckers has continued to lead the Wings during a pivotal stretch of the season.

The game is scheduled for 7 p.m. CT Thursday, Aug. 20, at American Airlines Center. Doors open at 5:30 p.m.

The matchup also marks one of the Wings’ final games at AAC before the franchise moves its primary home games to the arena beginning with the 2027 season.
