NFL Draft: JHS Alum Chris Carpenter Headed to New Orleans

JACKSONVILLE, Texas (TXAN 24) — Jacksonville High School’s own Chris Carpenter (Class of 2020) is officially New Orleans bound! The former Fightin’ Indian continues to make his hometown proud as he takes the next big step in his journey.

A huge shoutout also goes to one of Jacksonville ISD’s own, Delaina Hollis — a proud JHS mom — who’s celebrating right along with him! Moments like these remind us just how strong the Jacksonville community is, and how far the spirit of JISD can travel.
