National Football League Reveals Record Nine-Game International Slate for 2026 Season

NEW YORK, New York (TXAN 24) — The National Football League announced its full 2026 International Games schedule Wednesday, featuring a record nine regular-season games across four continents and seven countries.


The league will make first-time regular-season stops in Melbourne, Rio de Janeiro and Paris while also returning to London, Madrid, Munich and Mexico City.


Among the headline matchups, the Dallas Cowboys will face the Baltimore Ravens on Sept. 27 at Maracanã Stadium in Brazil. The Houston Texans are also headed overseas, taking on the Jacksonville Jaguars on Oct. 18 at Wembley Stadium.


The international schedule opens Sept. 10 in Australia with the San Francisco 49ers meeting the Los Angeles Rams at the Melbourne Cricket Ground.


Other featured games include:

  • Pittsburgh Steelers vs. New Orleans Saints in Paris on Oct. 25

  • Cincinnati Bengals vs. Atlanta Falcons in Madrid on Nov. 8

  • New England Patriots vs. Detroit Lions in Munich on Nov. 15

  • Minnesota Vikings vs. the San Francisco 49ers in Mexico City on Nov. 22


The NFL says the expanded international slate reflects the league’s continued global growth strategy and rising fan interest worldwide. The complete 2026 NFL schedule will be released Thursday night.
