LIST: Texas Dominates 2025 NFL Draft with 37 Players Selected—4 Schools With Multiple Picks

TYLER, Texas (TXAN 24) — Texas high school football once again proved its national dominance as 37 former Texas prep standouts were selected in the 2025 NFL Draft — the most of any state.

Among the 246 high schools represented in this year’s draft, four Texas programs stood out by producing multiple picks: Southlake Carroll (R.J. Mickens, Quinn Ewers), Klein Cain (Matthew Golden, Jaydon Blue), Manor (Princely Umanmielen, Tahj Brooks), and Pleasant Grove (Landon Jackson, Nick Martin).

Texas also led the nation in first-round picks with six, headlined by Columbia High School’s Cam Ward going No. 1 overall to the Titans and Frisco Lone Star alum Ashton Jeanty landing at No. 6 to the Raiders.

East Texas was represented by Pleasant Grove’s Jackson and Martin, and Marshall High School’s Savion Williams — keeping the region’s NFL pipeline flowing strong.
