HOUSTON, Texas (TXAN 24) — The Houston Texans added two defensive players Monday, signing linebacker Aiden Fisher and defensive tackle Kayden McDonald following rookie minicamp.

Fisher, a seventh-round selection out of Indiana Hoosiers football, was chosen with the 243rd overall pick in the 2026 NFL Draft. The linebacker finished his college career known for his tackling ability and production in the middle of the defense.

Houston also signed 36th overall selection, defensive tackle Kayden McDonald from Ohio State Buckeyes football. McDonald adds depth to the Texans’ defensive front after contributing along Ohio State’s defensive line during his collegiate career.

The moves come as Houston continues shaping its 90-man roster ahead of organized team activities later this month.
