ARLINGTON, Texas (TXAN 24) — The Dallas Wings hosted the Minnesota Lynx on Wednesday night at College Park Center in Arlington in an early-season WNBA matchup between two Western Conference teams and the top two picks in the 2026 WNBA Draft Azzi Fudd and Olivia Miles.
Dallas entered the night looking to build momentum in front of its home crowd while Minnesota arrived in North Texas aiming to continue its strong start to the season. Fans packed College Park Center for the nationally anticipated matchup featuring several of the league’s top players.
The Dallas Wings built an early double-digit lead Wednesday night at College Park Center, but a second-half surge from the Minnesota Lynx handed Dallas a 90-86 loss.
Dallas opened the night with balanced scoring and strong pace offensively, taking a 28-18 advantage after the first quarter. Minnesota stayed within striking distance largely behind the hot shooting of Courtney Williams, who carried the Lynx offense early.
The Wings maintained control entering halftime with a 48-40 lead as Maddy Siegrist continued to pour in points offensively. Rookie guard Olivia Miles also contributed key buckets to help Dallas withstand Minnesota’s pressure.
