Dallas Wings go off in 4th Quarter to beat Las Vegas Aces, 95-87

ARLINGTON, Texas (TXAN 24) — The Dallas Wings returned to Texas to play against the Las Vegas Aces on Thursday night at College Park Center. The game had local Dallas Mavericks legend Dirk Nowitzki court-side in attendance.
Dallas showed flashes throughout the night, led by Paige Bueckers who finished with 20 points, 3 rebounds and 6 assists. The Wings stayed competitive behind strong defensive stretches and key momentum swings throughout the contest.
One of the biggest turning points came in the 4th Quarter when Bueckers knocked down a trifecta to push the lead to 12 points, a game high for the Wings at the time. The sequence shifted momentum and energized the crowd in College Park Center.
Dallas also received contributions from Jessica Shephard, who had 22 points, 20 rebounds, and 10 assists for triple double, and 20 points added in by Azzi Fudd.
With the emphatic win at home, the Wings continued to show growth and resilience against one of the WNBA’s top contenders. The Wings now move to 5-3 on the season and will next face Seattle Storm on June 1 in College Park Arena.
